This is an announcement to all my readers. I have joined forces, in a collaborative manner, with Second Life (SL) resident, and real life professional artist, Izikael Novi (SL name). Our combined efforts have joined with the Rezzable Productions and the NPIRL group (Not Possible In Real Life) in a virtual world/SL historical event called: “The Garden of NPIRL Delights.”

What is The Garden of NPIRL Delights? Basically, its a conglomeration of virtual artists who have attempted to express art in a theme that is reminiscent of surrealistic art. The idea being that its Not Possible In Real Life! (see image)

I've added a new category on the left sidebar, called "Poems from the Metaverse". In order to assist the reader in the understanding of this category, I would suggest you check out Second Life. Furthermore, even if its a virtual world, feelings are real. I have discovered a renewed inspiration, not just from my love, Raina Robertson, but also from this virtual world. Words can barely describe it. I predict metaverses will become the new "killer app" on the Internet, to the point that it will become the Internet as we know it today. It will/is just way more interactive, and highly supportive of a social network, very unlike any you may have seen.

I have been a member of Second Life (SL) (as created by Linden Labs) for a little over one month now. I had heard about it from a friend. Anyway, this post is to express my thoughts about making your initial trip into this "New World" a more pleasant one.

I find it very interesting and hopeful. My poem on this subject, is my attempt at poetically conveying what is purported below.

Not too long ago, I added a post called "All There Is". In it I spoke of how I couldn't take full credit for the art but that I hoped to someday be able to create my own. Well, I've just found my way or rather how or what I need to do to express it. I don't know if you have ever had an experience like this?

It's funny when your feeling down, and wondering how you can make it different? Typically the response is to go do something, anything to get your mind off it. Which is as temporary as any other form of escapism. So, I was surfing the Internet, wondering why my blog hasn't received any comments?

All There Is - This associated piece of art with my poem was created using two images; the Hindu Goddess, Shakti and a piece of Fractal art. I've had this sort of vision since my late teens, meaning this style of sorts. The vision is really an inward and outward movement of energy that, I believe, is occurring in all things.
